1984 by George Orwell

Well Orwell would hate today, obviously for the mass amount of spying corporations do on people everyday and the insanity of the data market, but also because he’s obviously has some sort of problem with women. This book is so misogynist that it really caught me off guard, considering it was written shortly after WWII where women had such an impact in resistance spaces that his feelings toward women in an authoritarian regime does not make any sense to me.
